Radiation or Pepper-spray?
So many of the people I are living one secret or another. One lie or another. I’m sure I’m living some kinda lies myself. Whether it’s constantly repeating the same bad line about ourselves to others, “I’m so fat I could never look like that”.
- Might be that we really like smoking but everyone around us poo-poos it so we don’t dare.
- What if we ADORE those ridiculously big rainbow colored beaded necklaces, but we live & work in a conservative environment?
Maybe it’s bigger and affects others & that could mean anything from being gay in a straight marriage to infidelity?
The point…WHATEVER the lie is, it radiates out and affects everyone in your circle of influence. It causes ripples. Behavior changes, anxiety and even depression. Most of the time though, the lie we think is so important to protect really, once revealed, would never have been the atomic bomb it becomes if we’d just talked about it in the beginning of the deception to ourselves and others.
